Acciona, S.A. is a Spanish multinational conglomerate dedicated to infrastructure, including construction, water and industrial services, and renewable energy. It was formed in 1997 through the merger of Entrecanales y Tavora and Cubiertas y MZOV, and is headquartered in Alcobendas, Madrid. The company operates in about 30 countries on five continents and employs roughly 30,000 people, with its renewable energy subsidiary Acciona Energia generating 21 terawatt hours of electricity a year.
