Acciona Energia is a Spanish renewable energy company and subsidiary of Acciona, based in Madrid. Founded in 2001, it develops, builds, operates and manages clean energy projects across wind power, solar energy, hydroelectricity, biomass and solar thermal energy, and as of late 2021 held 11.2 gigawatts of installed capacity across 16 countries on all five continents. The company also provides energy efficiency services, electric vehicle charging infrastructure and green hydrogen solutions, and trades on Spanish stock exchanges under the ticker ANE with Acciona S.A. as its principal shareholder.
