Enagas, S.A.

Enagas, S.A. is a Spanish energy company that operates as Spain natural gas transmission system operator, headquartered in Madrid. Established in 1972 by the Spanish government to build a nationwide gas pipeline network, it owns and operates Spain gas grid and manages four liquefied natural gas regasification terminals, at Huelva, Barcelona, Cartagena and Gijon. The company was privatized in 1994 and also holds operations and stakes in Mexico, Peru, Chile, Sweden and the Trans Adriatic Pipeline project.
