Edison International is an American electric utility holding company headquartered in Rosemead, California, the parent company of Southern California Edison, one of the largest electric utilities in the United States, which traces its own history back to 1886. It provides electric service to a large area of central, coastal and Southern California outside the city of Los Angeles itself.
