Huhtamaki Oyj

Huhtamaki Oyj is a Finnish global food packaging company headquartered in Espoo that manufactures disposable food service products such as cups, plates and containers for restaurants and retailers, along with flexible packaging and labels. Founded in 1920 as a confectionery manufacturer, it diversified into clothing, pharmaceuticals and electronics before divesting those businesses in the late 1980s and 1990s to concentrate on packaging. The company operates in more than 30 countries with about 18,261 employees and is listed on Nasdaq Helsinki.
