CCL Industries, Inc. is an American-Canadian packaging company established in 1951. It describes itself as the world's largest label maker, and operates from dual headquarters in Toronto, Canada, and Framingham, Massachusetts. The company manufactures labels and packaging products for consumer goods, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, and industrial markets, through five divisions, CCL Label, its largest segment at 63 percent of sales, CCL Container, Avery, Checkpoint Systems, and Innovia Films. As of 2016 CCL employed approximately 20,000 workers across 154 manufacturing facilities across North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and Africa. The company trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange and joined the S&P/TSX 60 index in 2017.
