Lanxess AG is a German specialty chemicals company headquartered in Cologne, Germany. It was spun off from Bayer AG in 2004, taking over most of Bayer's chemicals and parts of its polymer businesses, and now produces specialty chemicals for industries including automotive, construction, agriculture and consumer goods.
