Compania Espanola de Minas de Tharsis was a Spanish mining company that operated mainly in the Tharsis-La Zarza mining basin. It was formed as heir to a former British company that had worked the Tharsis mines since the mid-19th century. The company was active between 1978 and 1995, when it ceased operations amid a crisis in the mining sector.
