Xiaomi Corporation

Xiaomi Corporation is a Chinese multinational technology company headquartered in Beijing, founded in 2010 by Lei Jun and a group of co-founders. It is best known for its smartphones, which it sells alongside a very wide range of other consumer electronics and smart home devices marketed under its own and affiliated ecosystem brands. The company built its early growth on an online-direct sales model offering high-specification smartphones at comparatively low prices, and it has become one of the world's largest smartphone makers by shipment volume, competing closely with Apple and Samsung for the top rankings in various periods and markets; it has more recently expanded into electric vehicles, launching its first production car in 2024, alongside its long-standing internet services and smart home ecosystem businesses.
