Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company is an American enterprise information technology company headquartered in Spring, Texas. It was created in November 2015 when the original Hewlett-Packard Company split into two separately listed companies, HP Inc., which kept the personal computer and printer businesses, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise, which took the server, storage, networking and enterprise services businesses. Both companies trace their shared lineage to the original Hewlett-Packard Company founded in 1939 by Bill Hewlett and David Packard in a Palo Alto garage. HPE focuses on data center infrastructure, hybrid cloud and edge computing products and services for corporate and government customers.
