Dell Technologies Inc. is an American multinational technology company headquartered in Round Rock, Texas, tracing its roots to Dell Computer Corporation, founded in 1984 by Michael Dell to sell custom-built personal computers directly to customers. It took its current name in 2016 after acquiring EMC Corporation, and today sells personal computers, servers, storage systems and other enterprise technology products and services worldwide.
