Koniku

Koniku is a California-based technology company that develops hybrid wetware devices integrating living biological neurons with silicon-based hardware. Its flagship product, the Konikore, is an electronic olfaction system that uses engineered biological neurons with olfactory receptors to detect and classify odors, chemical signatures and explosives for security, healthcare and industrial applications. Koniku has partnered with Airbus since 2017 on aviation threat detection, and in 2025 became a founding member of the Oracle Defense Ecosystem established by Oracle Corporation.
