Regionalverkehr Bern-Solothurn

Regionalverkehr Bern-Solothurn, known as RBS, is a Swiss public transport operator formed in November 1984 through the merger of the SZB and VWB railways. It operates train, tram and bus lines linking Bern, Solothurn and Worb over about 57 kilometres of track and 61 kilometres of bus routes, carrying roughly 23.5 million passengers a year as of 2006. Ninety four percent of its shares are held by federal, cantonal and local authorities.
