ReachNow was a carsharing service operated by BMW Group in Seattle, Portland, and Brooklyn. Launched in 2016, it used a mobile app for reservations and ran a fleet of more than 1,000 vehicles, competing with car2go and Zipcar in Seattle. Unlike DriveNow, a joint venture between BMW and Sixt focused on European cities, ReachNow was a wholly owned BMW subsidiary that used RideCell rather than Sixt for its technology platform, and it shut down its Seattle and Portland services on July 17, 2019.
