Yorkshire and the Humber Railroads

This child group collects English Railroads members headquartered or historically based in Yorkshire and the Humber. It includes DB Cargo UK, a modern rail freight operator headquartered in Doncaster; the Great Northern Railway (Great Britain), a pre-grouping main line company centered on Yorkshire and Lincolnshire; the Hull and Barnsley Railway and the Hull and Selby Railway, both serving the port of Hull; the Scarborough and Whitby Railway along the Yorkshire coast; the York and North Midland Railway, linking York southward; and Renaissance Trains, a modern open-access rail investment company based in York. At 7 members it sits well under this atlas's oversized-group threshold and needs no further split.
