Furness Railway

The Furness Railway was a railway company that operated in the Furness area of Lancashire and in south Cumberland in North West England. Its mainly coastal network stretched from Whitehaven in the north to Carnforth in the east, with several branches, and through joint railways and running powers it also reached Wennington and Workington.
