Calea Ferata din Moldova

Calea Ferata din Moldova is the sole railway operator in the Republic of Moldova, responsible for passenger and cargo transportation and for railway infrastructure maintenance within the country. The network it manages totals 1,232 kilometers, of which 1,218 kilometers are 1,520 millimeter gauge and 14 kilometers are 1,435 millimeter gauge, entirely single track and not electrified, bordering the Romanian network in the west with a break of gauge and the Ukrainian network in the east.
