Xinyi Solar Holdings Limited was formed in 2008 in Dongguan when Xinyi Glass split off its solar photovoltaic glass development, manufacturing, sale and customer service business. The company is the largest solar cover glass producer in the world, holding roughly a 30 percent market share, and is headquartered at Xinyi Glass Industrial Park in Wuhu, Anhui.
