Valmet Oyj is a Finnish industrial technology company headquartered in Espoo, formed as an independent company in December 2013 through a demerger from Metso Corporation, though its industrial roots trace back more than 225 years. It supplies process technologies, automation systems and services for the pulp, paper, energy and broader process industries, operating in about 40 countries through more than 110 service centers, 160 sales offices, 76 production units and 34 research and development centers. Valmet trades on Nasdaq Helsinki under the ticker VALMT and employed roughly 18,500 people as of 2025.
