SKF, formally Aktiebolaget SKF, is a Swedish manufacturing company headquartered in Gothenburg, established in 1907. It makes bearings, seals, lubrication systems, maintenance products, mechatronics and power transmission products and related services, and is the world's largest bearing manufacturer. SKF runs about 150 subsidiaries and 108 manufacturing facilities, employs around 42,600 people, and distributes through roughly 17,000 distributor locations across 130 countries.
