Prym

Prym is an internationally active group of companies headquartered in Stolberg, Germany, tracing its roots to a goldsmiths workshop the Prym family ran from the sixteenth century, formally established at its present Stolberg location by Christian Prym in 1642 after relocating from Aachen. The group operates through four divisions, Prym Consumer, Prym Fashion, Prym Intimates and Inovan, making haberdashery and textile closure products such as snap fasteners, sewing accessories and buttons, along with material, surface and mechatronics technology. One of the worlds oldest continuously operating companies, Prym remains majority owned by the Prym family, reported revenue of 396 million euros in 2021 with 3,421 employees, and was fined 40 million euros by the European Commission in 2007 for participating in a price fixing cartel, a violation it had itself reported to authorities.
