Karsan

Karsan Otomotiv Sanayii ve Ticaret A.S., known as Karsan, is a Turkish manufacturer of commercial vehicles headquartered in Akcalar, Nilufer, in Bursa Province. Its name is an acronym for Karoseri Sanayii, meaning coachwork or bodywork industry, and the company, founded in 1966, produces automobiles, commercial vehicles and electric buses for markets around the world. Karsan was managed by Koc Holding from 1979 to 1998 before passing to its current owner, the Kiraca Group, and it trades on Borsa Istanbul under the ticker KARSN.
