Fujita (company)

Fujita is a Japanese conglomerate headquartered in Osaka, founded by Densaburo Fujita, which began as a zaibatsu producing military goods during the Satsuma Rebellion before expanding into construction, mining and other sectors. After the Second World War, Allied authorities dissolved the zaibatsu structure and transferred its assets to Fujita Kanko, a resort development firm that became the core of the post war keiretsu organization. Fujita remains active in construction and infrastructure work today, including airport terminal projects internationally.
