The Trinidad Government Railway was a state-operated railway in Trinidad that ran from 1876 to 1968. It originally connected Port of Spain with Arima and was extended over the following decades to Couva, San Fernando, Sangre Grande, Tabaquite, Siparia and Rio Claro, serving as the colony's principal inland transport link for nearly a century.
