SuperVia Trens Urbanos was a rapid transit and commuter rail operator based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, founded on November 1, 1998 and owned by the government of the State of Rio de Janeiro. Its network covered 270 kilometers of track with 104 stations across 8 lines serving 12 municipalities in the greater Rio de Janeiro area, running a fleet of 204 trains ranging from vintage stock to modern Chinese built units. At its height the system carried about 750,000 passengers a day, though annual ridership had fallen to about 98 million by 2020. SuperVia was sold to TrensRJ in February 2026, with a transition period running through June 2026.
