The Roberval and Saguenay Railway is a small mining railway, incorporated in 1911 and headquartered in Saguenay, Quebec, that has operated continuously since to carry raw ore and other freight for its owner, the mining company Rio Tinto Alcan, across roughly 100 miles of standard-gauge track in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region, reaching Saguenay, Hebertville and Alma with connections to Canadian National Railway. It currently runs four diesel locomotives, having earlier operated two steam locomotives built in 1937 and 1940 into the early 1960s, one of which is now preserved on display in Boone, Iowa.
