The Northern Railway of Canada was a railway in the province of Ontario. It was the first steam railway to enter service in what was then known as Upper Canada, and was eventually acquired by the Grand Trunk Railway, making it a predecessor of the modern Canadian National Railway. Several sections of its line are still used by CNR, GO Transit and the Ontario Northland Railway.
