The Oost-Java Stoomtram Maatschappij, or East Java Steam Tram Company, was a private railway operator in the Dutch East Indies headquartered at Wonokromo in Surabaya. It received its concession in 1886 and began operating in 1889, running an approximately 66 mile network of about 46 stops across Surabaya, Sidoarjo, Mojokerto and Jombang, using a mix of steam locomotives and later electrified trams on both former railway lines and city streets. The company was nationalized in 1959, and its remaining operations closed by 1978.
