Compagnie des chemins de fer Bone-Guelma

The Compagnie des chemins de fer Bone-Guelma was a French colonial railway company founded in 1875 by Ernest Gouin with financing from the Banque de Paris et des Pays-Bas to build and operate rail lines in Algeria and Tunisia. It developed a network of 449 kilometers in Algeria and 1,205 kilometers in Tunisia, but its Algerian lines were nationalized first, purchased by the government on 6 June 1914 and handed to the Algerian State Railways from 1 April 1915. Tunisia's government acquired the Tunisian network in 1922, and on 8 June 1923 shareholders renamed the company the Compagnie fermiere des chemins de fer tunisiens, ending the original company's nearly fifty years of operation.
