Before its 2026 merger it operated 30 offices across 18 countries in Asia, Australia, Europe, the Middle East and North America, with more than 1,600 lawyers and over 2,800 total staff, and it ranked 55th globally by revenue among the world's largest law firms and sixth among firms based in the United Kingdom. Its practice covered mergers and acquisitions, corporate and structured finance, investment funds, antitrust, energy, transport, infrastructure, intellectual property, dispute resolution, financial services, tax, real estate and employment law. In June 2026 Ashurst merged with the Seattle-based firm Perkins Coie to form Ashurst Perkins Coie.
