Randstad N.V. is a Dutch multinational human resources and staffing company headquartered in Diemen, near Amsterdam, founded in 1960 by Frits Goldschmeding. It is one of the largest staffing and recruitment firms in the world, providing temporary staffing, permanent placement, and broader human resources services to client companies across dozens of countries. The company took its name from the Randstad, the densely populated ring of Dutch cities including Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague and Utrecht where it began operating.
