Switch Mobility, called Optare until 2020, is a British bus manufacturer based in Sherburn-in-Elmet, North Yorkshire, and a subsidiary of the Indian company Ashok Leyland. It is responsible for the electric vehicle operations of the group, while Ashok Leyland concentrates on its core diesel business and on alternative fuels such as compressed natural gas, liquefied natural gas and hydrogen. It was rebranded from Optare to Switch Mobility in November 2020. As Optare it built the Optare Solo midibus.
