Plenty and Son was an English engineering company headquartered at the Eagle Ironworks in Newbury, Berkshire, founded in 1800 to build marine steam engines. In 1928 the company expanded into diesel engine manufacturing under the Plenty-Still brand at a Kings Road facility in Newbury, and by 1932 this diesel business had become the separate Newbury Diesel Company. The Plenty brand passed to SPX FLOW, which announced that it would cease operating it beginning June 6, 2026.
