Assa Abloy

Assa Abloy is a Swedish manufacturing conglomerate headquartered in Stockholm that specializes in physical security, making locks, doors, gates and entrance automation along with access control systems using keys, cards, biometrics and mobile credentials. It was formed in 1994 through the merger of the Swedish lock maker ASSA and the Finnish lock maker Abloy Oy, and went public on the Stockholm exchange the same year. The company has grown through acquisitions of brands including Yale and Kwikset and now employs about 61,000 people in more than 70 countries.
