Yandex Taxi is a ride-hailing service headquartered in Moscow, originally launched by the Russian technology company Yandex and combined in 2018 with Uber's Russian and CIS operations to form a jointly owned venture. Yandex took full ownership after Uber exited its stake amid Uber's 2021-2022 withdrawal from the Russian market, and the service remains one of the dominant ride-hailing platforms across Russia and neighboring countries.
