Gorky Railway

The Gorky Railway is a regional subsidiary of Russian Railways headquartered in Nizhny Novgorod, a city formerly named Gorky that gives the railway its name. Established in 1862, it operates roughly 7,987 kilometres of track across nine federal subjects of the Russian Federation as part of the national Russian Railways network.
