Babcock International Group plc

Babcock International Group plc is a British aerospace, defence and nuclear engineering services company headquartered in London. It traces its origins to 9 April 1891, when Babcock and Wilcox Ltd was established in Britain as a subsidiary of the American Babcock and Wilcox Company, itself founded in 1867, originally to manufacture boilers. Babcock has since evolved into a specialist in managing complex assets and infrastructure, serving public bodies, particularly the UK Ministry of Defence and Network Rail, alongside civil contracts, across four sectors with operations in Africa, North America, South America, Europe and Australasia. The company is listed on the London Stock Exchange as a constituent of the FTSE 100 Index.
