Adyen

Adyen is a Dutch payment company, holding the status of an acquiring bank, that lets businesses accept e-commerce, mobile and point of sale payments, acting as both a payment gateway and a payment service provider. It was founded in 2006 in Amsterdam by Pieter van der Does and Arnout Schuijff. The company is listed on Euronext Amsterdam and is a constituent of the AEX index and the EURO STOXX 50. As of 2024 it employed about 4,345 people across offices in twenty three countries and reported annual revenue of 1.996 billion euros with net income of 925 million euros.
