LG Energy Solution

LG Energy Solution is a South Korean battery manufacturer headquartered in Seoul, established on December 1, 2020 as a spin off of LG Chem, which continues to hold an 81 percent stake. The company produces lithium ion batteries and ranks among the world's largest battery makers, supplying electric vehicle batteries and energy storage systems to automakers and utilities worldwide. It completed an initial public offering on the Korea Exchange in January 2022 that was, at the time, the largest IPO in South Korean history.
