RegionAlps

RegionAlps is a Swiss transport company headquartered in Martigny, in the canton of Valais, founded in 2003 to provide S-Bahn and bus services across the region, operated as a joint venture in which Swiss Federal Railways holds 70 percent, Transports de Martigny et Regions 18 percent, and the Canton of Valais the remaining 12 percent. The company runs passenger trains on two main lines, between Saint-Gingolph on Lake Geneva and Brig, and between Martigny and Orsieres, alongside five bus routes between Leuk and Visp. RegionAlps carried 9.1 million passengers in 2018, an increase of 6 percent over the prior year.
