MISC Berhad

MISC Berhad was incorporated in 1968 as Malaysia International Shipping Corporation Berhad and is the leading international shipping line of Malaysia, changing its corporate name to MISC Berhad in September 2005. Petronas, Malaysia's national oil corporation, is its principal shareholder. The company specialises in ship owning and operating, offshore floating facilities, and marine repair, conversion, engineering and construction work, running a fleet of more than 120 vessels with a combined tonnage exceeding 13,000,000 deadweight tonnes, with particular prominence in LNG carrier operations.
