Korail, formally the Korea Railroad Corporation, is the national railway operator of South Korea, functioning as a government-owned corporation managed by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transportation. The company updated its official Korean name in November 2019 while continuing to operate under the KORAIL brand.
