Waste Connections, Inc. is a North American integrated waste services company that provides waste collection, transfer, disposal, and recycling services, primarily of solid waste, across the United States and Canada. It is headquartered in The Woodlands, Texas, and was established in 1997 by James Cutler, Brad Bishop, Frank Cutler, and Ron Mittelstaedt, industry professionals from Washington and Idaho. The company went public through an initial public offering in May 1998 and has since grown to become the third largest waste management company in North America.
