ISS A/S

ISS A/S, short for International Service System, is a facility management services company headquartered in Copenhagen that provides security, cleaning, technical, food and workplace services across Europe, Asia, North America, Latin America and the Pacific, with about 400,000 employees and revenue of 69.823 billion Danish kroner in 2020. It began in 1901 as a small security company with 20 night watchmen under the name Kobenhavn-Frederiksberg Nattevagt, expanded into cleaning services through a subsidiary in 1934, and adopted the International Service System name in 1968. It first went public on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange in 1977 and was relisted on Nasdaq Copenhagen in 2014 after a period of private ownership.
