Belavia, formally Belavia Belarusian Airlines, is the flag carrier of Belarus, headquartered in Minsk, serving routes across the Commonwealth of Independent States as well as parts of the Middle East, China, India, Thailand and Vietnam from its base at Minsk National Airport. Following the Ryanair Flight 4978 incident on 23 May 2021, the airline has been banned from the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Ukraine.
