Eastern Australia Airlines

Eastern Australia Airlines was a regional airline based in Sydney, Australia, founded in 1949 as the Tamworth Air Taxi Service, later Tamair, beginning operations on August 11, 1949, and becoming a Qantas subsidiary in September 1992 after several changes of ownership. Headquartered at Mascot, New South Wales, at Sydney Airport, it operated regional domestic services to fifteen destinations under the QantasLink brand, flying primarily De Havilland Dash 8 turboprop aircraft to communities across Australia. The airline ceased operations on August 8, 2025, when QantasLink flew its last flight with the Q300, and its regional services transferred to Sunstate Airlines, another QantasLink operator.
