Ariana Afghan Airlines

Ariana Afghan Airlines Co. Ltd., known simply as Ariana, is the flag carrier and largest airline of Afghanistan. Founded in 1955, it is state owned and the oldest airline in the country. Its main base is Kabul International Airport, from which it flies domestic routes and international connections to China, India, Pakistan, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates. The airline is headquartered in the Shar-e Naw district of Kabul, and has been on the European Union's list of banned air carriers since October 2006.
