Tyvak Nano-Satellite Systems was an American company that designed and built satellites, starting as a designer, builder and provider of nanosatellite and CubeSat space vehicle products and services for government and commercial customers. In 2011 Jordi Puig-Suari, co-inventor of the CubeSat design, and Scott MacGillivray, a former manager of nanosatellite programs for Boeing Phantom Works, established it in San Luis Obispo, California; it was later based in Irvine. It became a subsidiary of Terran Orbital Corporation, and in 2022 the Tyvak name was to be phased out as the group moved to larger satellites. Lockheed Martin acquired Terran Orbital in October 2024.
