Taylorcraft Aviation is an American airplane manufacturer that has been producing aircraft for more than ninety years in several locations, based today in Brownsville, Texas. The company builds small single-engined airplanes of conventional layout: high-wing, fabric-covered, two-seat aircraft. Its founder was Clarence Gilbert Taylor, the firm began in Bradford, Pennsylvania, and the basic design has remained unchanged since 1936. The same design is sold as a personal sport aircraft today.
