The Stinson Aircraft Company was an aircraft manufacturing company in the United States that operated between the 1920s and the 1950s. It built light and general aviation aeroplanes for private owners and small operators across those decades, including the postwar Stinson 108, a four-seat light aeroplane first flown in December 1944. The firm was one of several American light-plane makers of the interwar and postwar period, and its name survives mainly through the many Stinson aircraft that are still preserved and flown.
